Grand Master Pandu holds a Grand Master’s
Rank from the Szlagowski Karate Association (SKA), Australia’s oldest
school of this type. The SKA is older than any Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon
Do, Hapkido, or similar school. There are approximately two Judo Clubs and
one Ju Jitsu School which are older than the SKA. The Founder of this
Association is Grand Master Wally Von Szlagowski.
Grand Master George Pandu’s rank of Grand Master, awarded on the 5 February 2000, is only the second ever awarded by this association in it's over 40 year history. The first was awarded to the founder in 1992.
Grand Master George Pandu was President of the Szlagowski Karate Association for 20 years, from 1980 to 2000.
Although now no longer a member of the Association, Grand Master George Pandu retains close personal links with his teacher, Grand Master Wally Von Szlagowski and the members of the Association, many of whom visit the Agarthi Siddha School for special events and training sessions.
On 26th March 2004 Grand Master Wally Von Szlagowski resigned from the Szlagowski Karate Association, and severed all connection with it. He transferred his grace and recognition to the Agarthi Siddha School, thus making the Agarthi Siddha School the oldest school of this type in Australia.
